1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Photon Ledger or Rapid Stacker (each, "the Software"), you agree to these terms. They apply to each product separately — each is licensed on its own.

2. License grants

Photon Ledger and Rapid Stacker are proprietary, closed-source software. They are licensed, not sold, and EKE Services LLC retains all right, title, and interest in them. No rights are granted except those set out below.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software, including all of its features, at no charge, for personal or commercial purposes, subject to the restrictions below. You may not copy, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the Software, or modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.

3. Restrictions

  • You may not reverse-engineer the license verification mechanism built into the Software.

4. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. EKE Services makes no guarantee that scanning will be complete or that derived statistics will be accurate. Verify against your own records before relying on totals for any consequential decision.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EKE Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Software.

6. Refunds

Paid licenses are not currently sold. For any past purchase, see Refunds.

7. Third-party software

The Software incorporates open-source components under their own licenses. The complete attribution document ships with every installer as THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md and is readable in the app itself — in Rapid Stacker under Settings → About → View third-party licenses. Those licenses govern their respective components; nothing in these terms limits any right you have under them.

PixInsight acknowledgment. Rapid Stacker is based in part on software from the PixInsight project, developed by Pleiades Astrophoto and its contributors (pixinsight.com).

8. Changes

We may update these terms; substantive changes will be announced via newsletter and on this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
